Christopher Kimberly Charles Serow

Christopher is the founder and Principal, Solicitor Director of Legal Minds. He has extensive experience in the practice of civil litigation, employment and industrial law, family law, estate planning, equity and trusts, administrative and business law, education law, wine law, consumer law, notarial practice and migration law matters.
Christopher regularly participates in providing legal services on a pro bono basis to assist in matters of community and public interest.

Richard Allan Morris BA, LLB (UNE), LEADR – Solicitor, Mediator, Director
Richard Morris is a solicitor and employed Director at Legal Minds. He provides legal advice in the areas of civil litigation, commercial and contract disputes, medical matters and other forms of personal insurance claims, employment law including both acting for employers and employees, discrimination, defamation, education law, insolvency and bankruptcy, debt recovery, neighbourhood disputes and contested wills.
Richard also has an interest in estate planning and family law. He is also a nationally accredited mediator and can offer neutral third party assistance for dispute resolution.

Lucinda WrightBA, LLB (Syd) – Migration Consultant
Lucinda Wright has specialised in migration law and advice for more than 20 years. She has worked as a processing officer for Department of Immigration and Citizenship, as a migration agent for PricewaterhouseCoopers and most recently, as a Tribunal Member of the Migration Review Tribunal for 8 years.
Lucinda brings her extensive experience and expertise as a special consultant on migration matters for Legal Minds.

Martin MatasiLLB (Hons) (MU), LLM (UGA) – Special Counsel
Martin is a casual academic and research assistant at the University of New England having previously studied at Moi University in Kenya and completing his Masters degree at the University of Georgia (USA). He is a licensed Attorney of the High Court of Kenya and currently completing accreditation requirements to practice as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW.
Martin has special interest in international law, trade and human rights protection and commercial matters. He is currently completing research for Legal Minds in relation to potential litigation associated with community rights.

Chelsea Louise Schaefer BA LLB (UNE) – Legal Services Coordinator
Chelsea commenced employment with Legal Minds on its inception as a senior legal clerk working full time whilst completing Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws at the University of New England, graduating in April 2011. She coordinates all legal services with the company and currently provides paralegal support in relation to commercial, family law, legal aid and conveyancing matters.
Chelsea will be admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW and commence practicing as a solicitor later in 2011.

Louise McPhieConveyancing & Administrative Services Officer
Louise commenced employment at Legal Minds in February 2010 and is the face of Legal Minds. She coordinates all reception activities and related administrative services including the processing of Legal Aid applications.
Louise actively manages and facilitates all residential, commercial and rural conveyancing matters and provides paralegal support for the processing of Wills and estate planning matters.
Timothy PurserBCom LLB (UNE) – Commercial & Conveyancing Clerk
Timothy Purser completed his Commerce and Law degrees at the University of New England in 2008. He will be admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in late 2011.
Tim provides paralegal support in relation to conveyancing, corporate, commercial, wills and estates and civil litigation matters.

Fiona PearsonGraduate Certificate in Management – Paralegal
Fiona is currently completing the requirements for a Master of Organisational Development & Strategic Human Resource Management Degree at the University of New England.
She is employed part time providing paralegal and administrative support in the areas of civil litigation, commercial, education, family, estates and business law.
Melissa KorschPractice Coordinator
Melissa commenced managing the day to day business administration, finances and human resource management of Legal Minds in 2010. She has extensive experience in practice management and client liaison and is a member of the executive team.
Melissa also delivers company register administration for corporate clients.

Samantha JohnstonReceptionist / Clerk
Samantha is currently a student of law at the University of New England.
She provides reception, administrative and paralegal support to the operation of the company.
Michael Vincent CurrieOffice Assistant
Michael is a student at O’Connor Catholic College and working part time as the Legal Minds office assistant. He is a registered private pilot and a passionate soccer player.
Michael will complete his HSC at the end of 2011 after which time he intends to pursue aviation studies at the University of NSW.
